Today marks the 10-year anniversary of the extraordinary Drum ‘n Bass trio Noisia. In a post on their website, they recounted the very beginnings of their journey as aspiring Drum ‘n Bass producers in a tiny village in the Netherlands, thanking their fans for all of the support for the last ten years, and stating that they're excited to produce more music. To add on to the accomplishments, Noisia has also amassed one million followers on their Soundcloud; a feat that is rare to see even for the highest echelon of producers. In celebration of these accomplishments, Noisia is giving away the first song they ever released, “Silicon,” for free download. Noisia is also having a giveaway contest that ought to pique the interest of producers, for the grand prize includes a pair of Audeze LCD-2 Headphones, a copy of Native Instruments Komplete 9, and Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 — so perhaps the celebration of Noisia's 10-year anniversary will also mark the beginning of a new legend-in-the-making.
