This year was the third year Bassnectar performed in Nashville for New Years Eve and his second straight year with the 360-degree revolving stage. The stage alone was absolutely mind blowing, giving every fan in the crowd an unbelievable experience. The crowd was able to see Lorin perform at every angle, which truly changed the experience for all the bass heads out there. The choreography of the light show and music together was out of this world, the stage smack dab in the middle of the arena almost resembled a space ship or something inhabited by aliens shooting lasers every direction and showing visualizers you could never imagine. Lorin performed an excellent set mixing new material with samples from other artists while still drawing from his old beloved tracks. The crowd also enhanced the incredible show; the fans being extremely kind and generous actually made the bond stronger between the crowd, the staff at the venue, and Lorin himself almost creating a family at that single show. This personally was my twentieth Bassnectar show and one I will never EVER forget, I have been to many shows for New Years events but this one alone blew the rest completely out of the water. With two more years on his contract with Bridgestone Arena in Nashville I strongly recommend anyone and everyone to buy a ticket immediately and get there any way possible. From the biggest of fans to those who just started listening to Bassnectar you are guaranteed the night of your life and a unique moment that will be lodged in your memory for life.
