UPDATE: This Artist Has Been Reported To Stealing Monstercat’s Songs

Yesterday the Monstercat artist known as Televisor uncovered another instance of copyright issues dealing with the Monstercat record label. This time the it seems that someone has decided to take 11 of Monstercat's songs, rename them and put them on an album that is being sold on iTunes, Juno and Amazon. The “producer” The Island released the album ‘Jurnel & Castell' which was released by The Island Recording record label and can be found on the website DJ Tunes.

UPDATE: Monstercat responded by saying “We have been in contact with the distributors for this release to have it removed from all stores. We have zero tolerance for people who try to take credit for others work. This is not piracy, this is blatant theft. Thank you to all of the fans/supporters who have worked with us to find the infringing content and alert us about the problem.”
