After the massive success of Cole Plante and Myon & Shane 54's last collaborations- their single that went #1 on Billboard's Dance chart, “Lie To Me,” with vocalist Koko LaRoo, and their hot remix of Demi Lovato's “Neon Lights”– it's clear that their collaboration chemistry is something magical. Today, they released their new collaboration, “If I Fall,” which features the vocal talent of Ruby O'Dell.
Already beginning with a small snippet of a funky, disco-inspired bassline, the peppy synth-line slowly enters. As the buildup comes, and you prepare to get footloose at the drop of the verse, the song instead drops into a sentimental break of heartwarming keys as Ruby O’Dell delivers the lovey-dovey lyrics wrapped in her tender vocals. As she sings the catchy hook, the synths and percussion slowly build up and drop into the progressive house verse, with a righteous lead melody and groovy bass. In the second break, O’Dell sings a new verse while the key melody from before is swapped with an acoustic guitar melody- giving the track more dimension to it- before dropping back into the progressive house groove.
As of currently, Cole Plante is on a 28-city tour of America with Demi Lovato (yeah, she must have liked the “Neon Lights” remix *that* much), and Myon & Shane 54 are on their own 22-date tour with Late Night Alumni. You can find details about these tours by checking Plante's and MS54's Facebook pages.
You can purchase “If I Fall” on Beatport, and expect remixes of this track- from the likes of Alvaro, Juventa, Maor Levi, Frankie Knuckles and more- to come soon.
