Out of my 99 problems, one of the most tedious one's is picking which shows to hit up. There really are so many great shows, but unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to clone myself, so some nights I have to choose just one. I took some time to ponder the best tours to see in the coming couple of months, and I hope it will help you out with this great dilemma.
P.S. I am a biased bass head.
1. SMOG City Tour:
12th Planet has been deemed by many, the king of dubstep for some time now. His Record Label ‘SMOG,' has been wrecking North America's venues for a few months now. Featuring Protohype, Antiserum, DLX, Flinch, Herobust, Son Of Kick, SPL, Starkey, Steady, and Two Fresh, this tour will do everything except disappoint. There are still over a dozen dates to catch this monumental tour, and it is highly suggested you do just that.
2. Executioner Tour:
Following last year's Executioner tour, Excision has decided to hit the roads again with a massive 60 city tour. Featuring Dirtyphonics, and Ill Gates, and of course the notorious 150,000 watt stage production provided by PK sound, the bass will truly be present.
3. Big Gigantic Winter Tour:
After seeing Big Gigantic a couple years back, I was without a doubt enlightened. If your somewhat confused in the direction your life is taking, or just need a break from everyday nonsense, it would be wise to hit up one of Big G's shows. This tour will cover 21 different shows, with support from Manic Focus, Gladiator, and Caked Up. Be there, or be square.
4. Fungusamongus Tour 2014:
Israeli veterans ‘Infected Mushroom,' have been in the game for quite some time. They are certainly known to NEVER disappoint. Over the past years, the duo have without a doubt shown that they are able to put on a sick live show. I would have to say, that their Fungusamongus live set-up is one of the sickest I have seen, and is definitely capable of decomposing your mind.
5. Rage By The Pound Tour:
Over a span of 6 weeks, bombarding 20 cities, Skism's ‘Rage By The Pound' tour will be unleashing wrath at it's finest. Skism is one of the founders of ‘Never Say Die' record label, and has been in the bass scene for quite some time now. The tour will be supported by CRNKN, FAR TOO LOUD, Mayhem, and Victor Niglio. This is a tour you do not want to be absent from.
