The SXSW Music and Media Conference commences this week, March 11-16th! This is the music centric portion of South by Southwest, which incorporates coverage on the music industry through various types of events. These include exclusive talks, panel led discussions, the Music Gear Expo, and other music related activities, all of which are located primarily at the Austin Convention Center in downtown Austin, Texas. This year, electronic music artists will have a more demanding presence due in part to the incorporation of EDM into popular culture (click here to see what I mean). There will be a plethora of performances to choose from. Below is a list indicating some of the more prominent artists set times and locations.
