Last year at Lightning in a Bottle Music and Art Festival I had the pleasure to hear and see Nicholas Jaar perform. With nothing more than a backdrop with ever changing visuals on a minimal level and a silhouette of Nicholas blew me away and I became a fan. Attending a show by Darkside(Nicholas Jaar and Dave Harrington) at The Observatory one night was now a necessity. Darkside provides more of a psychedelic electronic music fusion. Dave stays buried with his guitar and effects while Nicholas provides the backbone, pads, and vocals.
