By now everyone is familiar with Deadmau5's infamous UMF set that he played in place of a sick Avicii. Avicii needed emergency surgery for a burst appendix and gallbladder issues. Luckily the Swedish superstar is in full recovery and will be back behind the decks soon. In the interim though Avicii has decided to push back two shows at the XS in Las Vegas on the 18th and 25th of April. Via Twitter he released an official statement.
I’m sorry for having to postpone the shows this month, […]
“I sincerely wish I didn’t have to but unfortunately there’s no going around it. Health must always come first and in this case especially after my ruptured appendix that got removed, doctor’s orders have been really strict.”
While on the 18th the legendary club is still saying that the performer is TBA, on the 25th they have decided on a quality replacement. The XS has booked Deadmau5 to play in addition to their resident Warren Peace to cover for Avicii. Deadmau5 is bringing his unhooked set up to the night club, and once again will perform in place of the ‘Wake Me Up' producer.
