Planet SMF is perfect for those who want to come chill out with the added bonus of learning how we can re-power the dance community by becoming more aware about our environment’s health and sustainability. IDEAS, a Florida based sustainable living advocacy organization, will also be providing educational resources and activities at Planet SMF. Be sure to stop by the Aquaponic and Urban Gardening demonstrations, check out the Electronic waste art installation and craft stations, or take your turn on the Planet SMF bike that powers spin art onto old vinyl records; all while your cell phone is recharging with our free solar powered charging stations.
We also encourage SMF attendees to #PlayitFWD by signing up to volunteer with EMA and IDEAS for a clean up day happening after the festival.
