Only 4 more days till Movement Festival! We have added a special playlist for your ears to get ready for this weekend. Besides the great music, there are some great additions in the mix this year on top of the great line up, which include a technology exhibition, food trucks, local and an international beer station, and an app to help you get around.
Paxahau have partnered up with innovators of hardware and software in order to bring you a collection of new additions to check out at Movement. Including, Roland USA, Keith McMillen Instruments, SynthArk and Detroit Modularr. As well as Allen & Heath, Subpac, Novation, Reloop, IK Multimedia, and more.
If you're anything like me, and love to eat, you're going to be excited about the food trucks this year. Some you may recognize, some you may not, either way they are going to be a tasty addition to Movement.
El Guapo: A Mexican food truck that spices things up with an international flare.
Tuk Tuk: Serves up a Southeastern Asian flavor which include, pho, pad thai, porkball soup, and more.
Mac Shack: If you’re looking for some yummy comfort food, this truck serves up some great mac n’ cheese creations along with some unique French fry creations.
Grindhouse: Grilling up some artisanal sausages and Hungarian fried pizzas is Grindhouse.
Slow's-to-Go: Slow’s is internationally acclaimed for their great BBQ. So I’m sure many of you are excited to see them on the food truck list.
In order to help fans find out more about all these additions to the festival, an IOS application has been made available for download for free. It allows you to customize your own schedule, create Movement postcards, share meetup spots via “Friend Finder”, and explore the extensive list of after parties. Unfortunately, for many android users, there isn't an android version of this app.
Tickets are still available here. The three day weekend pass is currently $130 for general admission and $260 VIP pass which includes some extra perks. I now leave you with the official Movement 2014 trailer, enjoy!
