Colorado resident and electronic producer Evoke has dropped his debut release on Simplify Recordings, the Neuropop EP. The six song project features an array of experimental sounds, constantly switching from one genre to another laced with beautifully sung vocals by the producer himself… Multi-talented producers are rare nowadays, respect for that. From Drum & Bass and nuerofunk / neurohop to hints of alternative rock sounding vocals alongside low-key dubstep wobbles that can be found throughout, Evoke really pushed the envelope on his Neuropop EP and I think it was an extremely solid debut release on the Washington-based record label.
