Evan James is a Washington based producer who came to me with this exquisitely laid back new record titled “Escalate” but what really captivated me [besides the awesome production style] was the extremely well done visuals. The relaxed, post trap-esce vibes that linger throughout the tune are backed by some soothing strings, intergalactic sound design and an overall trippy aura. The collage filled music video reminds me of Wolfgang Gartner's track “Illamerica” too an extent but a little more spaced out. This single is one of four original tracks off his Embark EP, which is all in all also a real solid project. Loving the tune and the video and I'm sure you guys will too, listen & watch below.
