Moby's new song, “The Only Thing”, was produced for the soundtrack of “Third Person” (in theaters now). The music video features producer; Moby, vocalist; Julie Mintz, and actors; Liam Neeson, Maria Bello, Mila Kunis, Kim Basinger, Adrien Brody, Olivia Wilde, and James Franco. The song is a melodic house ballad. Moby's use of orchestral strings gives the song an underwater feel, and harmonic vocals accompany trance-like, fluid, sounds throughout the song.
Moby wrote the song to flow with the story line of Liam Neeson's character, Michael: “Paul Haggis sent me a rough cut of ‘The Third Person' and I wrote this song based on the movie. Specifically I wrote it about Liam Neeson's history in the movie, which I can't say anything about as it will give away the plot…” You can buy the single on iTunes.
