Poland's bright young trance/progressive producer Bastian Salbart has had quite a fruitful year so far, and he's showing no signs of slowing down. With his last few productions being signed to the esteemed High Contrast Recordings, Salbart's productions continue to impress, and his next single, “Don't Forget To Remember,” is set to be released on HCR next month; EDM Sauce has the pleasure of debuting that track.
At the break, the long-decaying white noise blows the percussion into a filtered distance. Salbart had displayed a penchant for using real guitar lines in his last production, “Krush,” and Salbart uses the instrument again for the first melody, paired with subdued synth chords. As it progresses, vocal samples begin to loop as the synth melody starts to climb above the guitar melody. As the trance chords take the reins, Salbart slowly wheels in another trance lead, sounding more triumphant, which soon beckons the quick build-up of rapid snares, and the drop into the full ensemble of smooth and wavy bass, resonant vocal samples and a lead line of trance goodness.
On a related note, a little birdie has told of Salbart producing a remix for a trance veteran. Two hints: 1. He has the word “van” in the middle of his name, and he's from the Netherlands (if the “van” didn't give that part away), so wait for EDM Sauce to be giving you the full skinny on that soon; but for now, Salbart's new single comes out on July 21, so don't forget to remember that, and be sure to check out Salbart on Facebook and Twitter.
