Do you know what I love about Monday? Monday is the day where I get to sit down and dedicate some time to find some new music I may have missed over the weekend. Today I give you Rebase. Rebase is a new producer on the scene from New Jersey. Usually when I see someone remix a guy like Figure it ends poorly, but this remix actually had me scrambling to find what tab was playing it. Rebase took this filthy monster music track and shaped it into a moombahcore, dubstep gem. This remix is more than just changing the timing, putting a tighter snare on, and calling it a different genre; Rebase took the song to a different place, structurally. You can be sure I will be paying much more attention to what Rebase is putting out in the future.
