After a recent news report where the anchor mistakenly quoted ‘EDM' as another name for ‘MDMA', the producer Cuboid couldn't resist sampling the news report for a new track. The result is a hilarious spoof on how much the media sensationalizes the correlation between dance music and drug use.
The track itself is a mix of moombahton, dubstep, and electro, creating a refreshing new sound that blends perfectly with the samples. Similar to “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat” and “Selfie”, this new sample + track style has been blowing up. Expect to hear it on the summer festival circuit because it will undoubtedly catch on quickly.
