Taking a twist on the originally kind of creepy emo child anthem by Melanie Martinex, Jai Wolf (formally known as No Pets Allowed) has given us a new track that perfectly exemplifies the genre “chill trap.” By adding some mellow trappy high hats, melodic synths, bubbly pops, and much needed vocal breaks, Jai Wolf has turned this tune into something we can actually dance to.
This up and coming producer who claims he takes inspiration from the likes of Skrillex and Adventure Club is actually creating a style that sounds all his own, no influence necessary. We look forward to the future of Jai Wolf and we'll keep this song on repeat, trying not to really think about the depressing lyrics too much.
