KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley shares the exclusive first listen here and this is a very cool glance at what seems to be a top EDM album of the year. You can pre-order “Worlds” HERE off iTunes. The album will be available to download and buy officially on August 12th, just nine days away.
From track one, Worlds is everything you would hope for this album to be. “Divinity” is an incredible opening track that opens with some funky instrumentals and then slowly, beautifully, transitions into Amy Milan's sensational vocals, followed by a hard drum and bass drop with some perfectly orchestrated video game sounds.
“Sad Machine,” “Sea of Voices,” and “Lionhearted” (featuring Urban Cone) have been made public already through previews and promos but now we have the full album after much anticipation. Check it out from NPR Music and follow them! In case you're wondering, the KCRW Music Director who wrote this post is also an accomplished producer in his own right, Jason Bentley, and he interviewed most of the artists at Coachella this year for the festival's live stream. He's a great personality and make sure to follow him at the links below!
Porter Robinson's Tour for the album starts at the end of this month in Vancouver and will hit 40 cities in North America with support from Girrafage and Lemaitre. Check below for dates and venues!
