TomorrowWorld is now only 50 days away. Its honestly overwhelming that we will be in the Chattahoochee Hills just outside of Atlanta, GA from September 26th-28th. Those dates seemed so far away just a few months ago. So that being said…it is now officially game time. Decisions need to be made and plans need to be assembled. Unfortunately when a festival has a line up as large and impressive as TomorrowWorld's you have no idea where to start. EDM Sauce knows that feel. And we are here to help. Over the next 50 days we will be giving you hints and advice on what to bring, what to plan for, and who to see. This article is about the latter of those. In the first installment of TomorrowWorld Preparation 2014, we bring you the 5 reasons why Lane 8 is one of the MUST SEE acts of TW2014.
1. His Remixes
Lane 8 has produced remixes for some of the most widely respected names in the dance Music Industry including Above & Beyond and Eric Prydz. What separates his remixes from others is his ability to understand what makes the song successful as a stand alone track, extract that essence, and blend it with him own impressive style. Listen to his remixes of Above & Beyond‘s ‘Sticky Fingers' and Eric Prydz's ‘Liberate' below to fully understand what I mean.
2. His Original Productions
2014 has no doubt been a break out year the Anjunadeep super star. It seemed like every month so far Lane 8 has come out with another original track that has outdone his previous effort. His latest track, ‘I Got What You Need' (vocal mix to his hit ‘Every Night' which was released over a year ago) has taken on a life of its own and become a summer anthem. The track has accumulated well over half a million plays in only one month. It offers catchy vocals, an upbeat melody and a production value that is beyond exceptional. Take a listen and just try not to imagine yourself dancing away to this one under the TW sky come September.
3. His Musical Range
Lane 8 is an incredibly talented artist across many styles of house. Having released off of both Anjunadeep and French Express, he holds company with some of the most celebrated stars in house music. In Pete Tong's ‘Future Stars' segment Lane 8 described his music in three words as ‘dreamy, backrub, house' and while maybe that doesn't make a ton of sense right away…the more you listen, the more you get it. Daniel's tracks celebrate both the more traditional side of deep and melodic house but also the more experimental approach as well. This makes his live sets something wonderfully unpredictable and exciting. You never know what you might get, but it is always stellar regardless of approach.
4. The Anjundeep Stage
Lane 8 is one of the featured acts on the highly anticipated Anjunadeep Stage at this year's TomorrowWorld. The stage is also playing host to label favorites: 16 Bit Lolitas, Beckwith, Cubicolor, Jody Wisternoff and Lancelot. That line-up is more than enough of a reason to convince any fan of proper house to stop by for a visit. But knowing Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats there runs a very high chance of some guest appearances from label mates during the different sets of the day. With Lane 8 continuing to produce some of the most original and successful music the label has seen in awhile, I would plan on a few friendly shenanigans occurring during his historic set.
5. It Will Likely Be His Biggest Crowd So Far
Lane 8 has played out several venues in several countries. He is no stranger to crowds and the excitement of preforming live. That being said, since 2014 has been such a successful year it is the first time that Lane 8 is starting to be consistently added to large scale festival line ups. This is a beautiful thing as it should have been happening awhile ago. So with TomorrowWorld being of the largest dance music festivals in the world, the crowd that will undoubtedly turn out to see Lane 8's set will likely be the largest he has encountered in his career so far. Let's be honest, who doesn't want to be part of a moment that special for an artist who truly deserves it.

Between his talent in regards to remixes, original production, and wide range of production as well as the special, unforgettable moments that will ensue, Lane 8 is clear front runner for a spectacular set.
