Since Burning Man is only 16 days away, the organizers of the event have been paying close attention to the weather and what's to be expected.
According to a blog post on Burningman.com, Black Rock City has been slammed with rain and hailstorms, turning the city into a muddy swamp the past few days. “Power went out, and hail popped the window of a work truck. The frozen balls started out about a quarter-inch in size, and then got larger.”
Marian Goodell said “I think there is a very very real possibility of crazy weather this year.”
