One of the industry's most awesome media platforms just got even more awesome. Users will have two options when registering for a paid account: “Premium for listeners”, or “Pro for uploaders”.
For listeners, a paid subscription will cost $7/month or $70/year. You will be able to access new features early, avoid advertisements, and receive a nifty badge on your account to let other users know that you're a supporter.
Pro for uploaders is a more comprehensive subscription. One month of this plan will cost $15 or $135 for a full year. This will also include access to new features, and a flashy “pro” badge. Additionally, pro members will have access to an advanced analytics report for uploads, scheduled uploads, the ability to disable commenting, and highlight features.
Also new to mixcloud is the “repost” feature. Available to all users, and inspired by Twitter's “retweet”, uploaders or listeners will be able to post other user's mixes to their own mixcloud stream.
