Out today on John Dahlback's Mutants Records is the new single from Jimi Frew, “Yalla.” This track from the Australian producer is Eastern-influenced, with its title meaning “hurry up” in Arabic. From an urgent and rhythmically prominent intro, the twisting melody develops around twangs of guitar and exciting cycles of synth progressions. It's electro house with a multitude of layers and a real sense of power within the breakdown.
