Despite a lengthy legal dispute, the festival's organizers AEG Live have come to a conclusion that Electric Forest will remain in Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan for the next 10 years.
One of the Double JJ Ranch owners, Norm Halbower, said that “I can assure you that there will be a festival next year.” “Part of my reasoning is they have had representatives going through our forest checking trees and doing preliminary stuff like they do every year.”
While the legal dispute took a little bit longer than expected, Electric Forest will indeed return to Double JJ Ranch.
