Forbes is renown for it's '30 under 30′ list, which ranks the most significant and successful entrepreneurs in 15 categories whom are under 30 years old. In October, 1,000 people who have been featured on this list will be attending an inaugural Summit concert. There are some huge names popping out from the list of special guests, such as Tinder CEO Sean Rad, Oculus founder Palmer Luckey, and Global Poverty Project co-founder Hugh Evans. Headlining and performing at the concert will be Music Industry titans Afrojack and Wiz Khalifa, including indie rocker LP and Philly native OCD: Moosh and Twist.
Needless to say, they've ensured a spectacular performance for the 6,000+ in attendance. Speaking of attendees, the event is being co-produced by The Global Poverty Project. This translates to 4,000 tickets being awarded via lottery system to those who are working to improve the world we share in areas such as relieving poverty and aiding in the fight against Ebola. In addition, 1,000 tickets are being allocated by the mayor's office in the Philadelphia area to those who go out of their way to improve and contribute to their community.
The event is scheduled to run from the 19th of October through the 22nd. No strangers to working with one another, Wiz Khalifa (who's wife filed for divorce earlier today) and Afrojack will definitely have something up their sleeves for the event.
