Too Lush aka 2LUSH is an upcoming L.A. collective/label that is trying to show music that's pushing in a plethora of genres. On Too Lush Vol. 1 they bounce back in forth from chillwave to trap while sprinkling in hints of hip-hop, jersey club and more – making this project a real home run for electronic fans. The stand out record for me on this 18-track compilation has to be Subvanity‘s down-tempo, hip-hop infused “OG Bobby Jonhson” flip… To me it almost sounds like something super producer Madlib would drop, but maybe that's just me. All I know is, if you have some free time this evening tune in and chill out to Lush Vol. 1 by Too Lush. Front to back, this project is on point. Stream it below:
