Ever since the release of {Random Album Title} in 2008, electronic music producer deadmau5 has been making waves in the EDM scene. In November he’ll release 5 years of mau5, a retrospective double album with his best loved tracks alongside new and exclusive remixes. The coffee loving deadmau5 is one of the most talented producers of electronic music, and amongst his fellow DJs there is awe, begrudging respect for the Canadian who can allegedly complete a production quality track in less than an hour. He's also equally well known for his scathing criticisms of the EDM scene and fellow DJs, and tends to be a polarizing figure in the music world. Plans for a 2015 world tour are in the works.
Selecting the best tracks from the last five years is a herculean effort – if I were picking them, I'd for sure be including Brazil, since it's one of my absolute favorites.
