Yaarrohs has released this EP on The Glitch Mob's record label, “Glass Air Records”. You may recognize her voice from The Glitch Mob's hit “Fly By Night” off of their album Love Death Immortality earlier this year. Yaarrohs is now forging her own path via TGM's label Glass Air Records, and the overwhelming reception to her debut EP “Flesh & Blood” has led to over 100,000 plays and a #1 spot on the Hype Machine's Twitter Chart for her first single “Amber” in less than one week!
The EP is mostly downtempo tracks with some liquid drum and bass elements combined with percussion style synths and meaningful voice patterns. It is definitely for easy listening but the haunting lyrics within this EP really provide depth to the overall vibe. It is no surprise this EP was released on The Glich Mobs label, as any track off of this EP could fit easily into one of their sets.
