Commercials you couldn't avoid, with a song that you couldn't get out of your head. Mysto & Pizzi hit it big with their take of Rockwell's ‘Somebody's watching me', which was featured in several Geico commercials back in 2009. If you don't remember the commercials, they always ended with the money with eyes on it “watching you”, and then the song would kick in. It seems so long ago, and it is, especially when you consider that EDM really hadn't hit it mainstream yet in the U.S., but that didn't stop this duo, who were producing tracks and remixes in what looks like a basement studio. Check out the video below on how the track came together. It's pretty cool to see how all of the pieces are layered together to make the song. It's a true flashback to 2009, and I'm sorry if the song gets stuck in your head…again.
