In addition to Major Lazer's cartoon, Diplo announced that in 2015, Major Lazer will be releasing two brand new albums.
The news comes from Mumbai's Radio & Music after Diplo finished up a 3 day project in India as part of VH1's Supersonic Arcade. Diplo stated that he recently finished mastering 16 Major Lazer tracks and would be dividing them up into two separate albums.
The first Major Lazer album is scheduled to be released by February 2015 while the second album will be out in September 2015.
“There will be lots of surprises and this will be the first show we really get to play a bunch of the new music, and we are excited.”
