With festival lineups hitting news feeds these past two weeks, I've been reminiscing on last summers hit sets. I came across this piece of funk magic by The Funkee Wadd from last summers Tall Tree Music Festival. Kyle Waddington known as The Funkee Wadd fuses hip hop, funk, and future bass beats with live guitar and harmonica. If your not a fan of funk, see if the drop at 55:30 will change your mind.
Keep an eye out for The Funkee Wadd or his other projects Illvis Freshly and The Whackness in the coming months and on festivals lineups this summer. We can expect a repeat appearance at The Tall Tree Festival in Southern Vancouver June 26-28.
