Great Odin’s Raven, it has been a long time since I have stumbled onto a song that just floors me. Hansel Thorn did just that with his track Valkyrie. David Otto, from Bakersfield CA, is a 20 year old multi genre producer who can take you from chillstep to filthy dub to bouncy trapped out dirty dutch and back. You may remember Hansel Thorn from his track Requiem. David is not one that can be pigeonholed into one particular genre.
Valkyrie is a hunting yet beautiful song. Starting with some eerie violins that build up until the song drops you on your face. Then with hard hitting kicks and amazing synth work the song becomes more of an adventure rather then a track. The builds and pauses are so perfect they leave you hanging on every note. This is a true symphony of sounds and glitch, this track is huge.
