Just recently, I got to talk to the trap-house rising star, and EDMSauce favorite, Visionaire about his opinions on the House scene, inspiration, and more to expect from him this year! Visionaire has already kicked off 2015 with a bang, and the ball won't stop rolling this year. Check out what he had to say, and his latest release “Dynasty” below!

1) You're a huge fan of both house and trap music, and last year we saw the trap scene explode onto mainstages everywhere, but for the most part still remained separate from the house scene and stayed more related to Bass Music. How do you feel that combining house and trap pushes both genres forward?
I've always been a fan of hip-hop growing up so trap was a genre I've always loved. Hopefully I will continually be able to push the genres forward by integrating both into my sets, but in the end, I'm doing it only because I love it. Maybe trap will always stay separate with house music, I'm not sure, but the two genres are my favorite at the moment, that's for sure.

2) Of your influences, who do you admire the most and why?
I admire producers that came from the bottom that had no special connections in the industry and are continuing to work their way to the top by producing great music and constantly networking. Huge fan of producers such as Wiwek, Jayden Parx, D.O.D and etc for their hustle and grind.
3) What are your other sources of inspiration outside of the music realm?
Pizza and stuffs.
4) If I looked on your iPod right now, what song would be playing?
I'm always listening to live sets so you can find many DJ's live recordings from various events on my iPod.
5) What's your dream venue or festival to play and what is the biggest show you've played to date?
I would eventually love the chance to play Tomorrowland. The biggest show I've played to date was mainstage at Electric Zoo New York!
6) If you were on the tv show punk'd who would you punk and why?
I would punk Deorro. It would be funny to play a joke to one of my idols lol.
7) What's the one toy you've always wanted as a kid that you still secretly want today?
hungry hippos game.
8) What are you most excited about for the upcoming year?
I've just started releasing songs on Beatport and will continue to do so for 2015! I've developed a new team around me including new managers and agents so I'm very excited for the potential that this year holds. Oh also…new EP coming out very soon!
