Rap superstar Lil Wayne has dealt with quite an eventful past couple weeks on the heels of a hoax and strange circumstances around his home.
It seems tension built to a climax at Nova Southeastern University during a show this past week. As you can see in the video below, Wayne starts to go into his version of the song “CoCo” by O.T. Genasis. However, the DJ plays the original version instead. Thrown off guard, “”Weezy” throws his Mic at him.
Watch the video below to see for yourself. The ability for DJ's and rappers to coexist has often led to many famous partnerships. This one, however, was not a pretty moment for the guy behind the decks.
Since the incident, Wayne reportedly forgave DJ 4our 5ive, who has been with him for about eight years. Friend Mack Mayne convinced Wayne that it wasn't just DJ 4our 5ive that messed up that night, the set list and the other production was off. According to TMZ, Wayne and 4our 5ive have made up and will be performing tonight at SXSW in Austin.
