Whenever I have a little bit of downtime to myself, I seem to consume every second of it exploring the most obscure parts of Soundcloud. Sometimes these virtual travels are rewarded in the form of finding a new artist putting out amazing, seemingly undiscovered music. Up-and-coming artists seem to catch my attention most (not in that pretentious “I knew them before they were cool” way) because I love following their fluctuating popularity and new music. Therefore, I will attempt to start a weekly segment (with this post being the inaugural post) so creatively entitled “Low-Key Artist of the Week”. In my most recent never-ending loop of Soundcloud I found Dual Force, a deep house producer with some really vibey music that would fit at any festival going on this summer. So far he has three songs out on his Soundcloud called “Don't Let Me Go” (which I believe is an original production), a remix of “Ghosts” by Mako, and a really cool remix of “Werk It” by Missy Elliot. Dual Force has a great mix of his own distinct tropical, future, and deep house sounds. I am a huge van of vocal tracks and Dual Force picked a few perfect tracks to remix that fit so well as deep house. These vocals are paired with clever layering that brings a full and complex sound in his songs. His productions really sound like studio quality and this is what separates him from the dozens of unknown artists I scroll past every day on Soundcloud. All of the aforementioned are reasons that make Dual Force a talented new artist to follow! Please take a listen to the tracks posted below, I am sure you will enjoy! Follow Dual Force on Soundcloud and Twitter to see all his new releases!
