Dash Berlin goes for a much different focus for his new single with Syzz in, “This is Who We Are” and trades trance in for, pop?
I may be a little biased reviewing this work because myself, and many others, are old-school Dash fans – I appreciated his art of soft-flowing melodies accompanied by melodic lyricists that bring tears to anyone's eyes. So maybe I just can't give this new Dash a chance.
The track isn't necessarily bad, it's just different. It's poppy and catchy and a definite dance-along piece. I applaud him for taking his new music in a different direction but I've been craving some of that older authentic trance sound we've all grown to love. What are your thoughts?
