New York’s Tim Wicked has released a new EP of remixes powered by the Blend, the collaboration platform for music creators, on June 23rd. Tim Wicked’s new single
“Understand” makes a compelling case for psycho love that many of us are familiar with. The track incorporates dance, 80’s synth, glam rock and an overall punk attitude, with an inyourface buzz factor. “Understand” covers the disparity in human relationships between resolution and mania, this notion is punctuated sonically by the percussive, driving rhythm and soaring melodies on the track.
Tim published his vocals on Blend allowing producers across the world to remix and revision his work. Tim selected Paris’s Dance Production Duo Gurewand Retro Style producer G8C from Essex UK paired up with two remixes Dusty Fingerz & Clancey. Tim Wicked has recently opened up for Action Bronson on the Mr. Wonderful tour and organizing one of the Head Curators for one of New York’s Premiere Parties, KILLERWICKED, featuring an impressive list of artists and DJs collaborating. Tim has been featured on Travie McCoy’s debut solo album and has been a guest performer with Travie on the “Too Fast for Love” Tour which also featured Cobra Starship and 3Oh!3.You can keep an eye on him this summer and look for our for the release of his next EP out later this year.
