2015 has been a huge comeback year for trance music, especially uplifting trance. With more and more 138 tracks dominating the Beatport charts and Insomniac Events announcing Dreamstate, a trance only massive, whoever claimed that the genre was dead is clearly mistaken. One huge contributor to the music has been the UK's Dan Stone, who is not only a fan favorite but simply of the most consistent producers in the industry, and his 2nd release on Aly & Fila‘s Future Sound Of Egypt imprint is set to be his biggest yet.
Matt Darey‘s masterpiece with Kate Louise Smith, “See The Sun”, is truly perfected by Mr. Stone. The beat is as punchy as ever, something fans have come to expect Dan's work, but the most noticeable improvement is how well Kate's voice goes with the faster tempo, as if the track was originally meant to be at 138 in the first place. The way the lyrics lead into the breakdown is the stuff of greatness and even though there aren't any drastically out of the ordinary synths or samples being used, this track is so perfectly structured and crisply textured, it stands head and shoulders above nearly all others like it. This is a huge addition to FSOE's elite releases this year and begs the question as to why Dan Stone is way bigger than he already is?
