Having DJ'd at clubs and festivals around the world since the late 80s and early 90s, Richie Hawtin is an absolute legend in electronic music. And being such a hardened veteran in the community, over the past couple years Richie has began traveling the country for his CNTRL Tour. However, the CNTRL Tour is not your usual music tour, but is actually a discussion tour, where Richie teaches college students about early electronic music and explains his unique live setup.
In the above video, Richie visits Point Blank Music School at UCLA, giving us an inside look at the creative, genius mind that is Richie Hawtin. I highly recommend that all aspiring DJs and producers watch the entire discussion, you will definitely learn (at least) a thing or two!
