The New York Post recently published an article that gives credit to someone who took large part in one of the summer's biggest hits… but was uncredited at large until the report. That's starting to change – and many fans are taking note of Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen (based in London). She sang on Calvin Harris & Disciple‘s hit “How Deep Is Your Love” (below). The track was released on Sony a couple weeks ago.
Worldsen admitted in the article that she didn't want to put up a fight about her credit in the song but mentioned, “I’m a writer first, and in cases like this you put your emotions aside. I wrote that song with Disciples about 18 months ago. Calvin heard it, loved it and wanted to put it out as his own single.”
Calvin released the track with her demo vocal that was recorded in one session, turning it into “How Deep is Your Love” – one of the summer's biggest hit singles. It looks like she's having some fun with it now, though, recently gushing about a shoutout from Denis Leary on Twitter and even joking about “how deep” her wallet is while shopping.
How deep is my wallet? Rather shallow after this purchase, but they had a sale!! #Chanel #Shopping… https://t.co/OiniLGv1Op

She also confesses in the article that she wishes she did a little less work – but she's not a stranger to backing up someone and being a standup team player. She's performed her own work with a few well-known bands and given plenty of other artists her best. A biography search reveals that her associated acts have included the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, and Shakira over the years.
