Back in early July of 2015, fans began a petition on Change.org that asked for Bassnectar to create his own festival with a no noise restriction. In just a few days the petition gathered more than 9,700 supporters and awareness quickly spread.
While Bassnectar is not starting his own festival anytime soon, Bassnectar did say that he will curate a stage next year at Moonrise Festival.
