Bay area natives with a strong feel for electronic soul, Saint Tiimbre comes as one of our favorite surprises of late. The trio project is comprised of a beautiful vocalist, Natasha Adorlee, and her accomplished collaborative partners Amp Live and multi-instrumentalist Julia Lewis.
Tiimbre's second release comes this week with “Body Moves,” and EP that serves as a life raft for a stressful day. Adorlee's vocals are top notch, weaving through these groovy rhythms and all sorts of brilliant melodies. With the cheerful beat of slowed down house music and a little tinge of indie synth pop, “Body Moves” captures nostalgia and drift-friendly chill-out electronica like few before it. Amp Live, who has worked with acts like Linkin Park and Bassnectar, gives this project plenty of life with his stellar ability to add filthy basslines and trapstyle edits to certain areas that give tracks like “Counting Stars” a bit of an edge. If you love 90's R&B, indie electronica, and anything soul – this is a really nice original act with an alternative feel.
