Kalamazoo will be hit by some beats n' eats with Layer Cake's first ‘Layer Cake BBQ' . Headlining will be one of the DirtyBird founders, Justin Martin.
For the past couple years, the Layer Cake crew have been cultivating their own scene by bringing in acts such as Christian Martin, Soul Clap, J. Phlip, Ardalan, and Golf Clap to The Mix. Now, they are saying ‘Auf wiedersehen' to the summer with a combo of vendors, pop up bars, merchants, and local talent.
The BBQ will run from 2pm-9pm at The Mix parking lot,with an after-party inside The Mix from 9pm-2am. Check out the local sounds that will be filling the streets of Kalamazoo.
