Van Norden comes to the EDM scene from the opposite end of the musical spectrum – the world of acoustic folk. Van Norden is the primary songwriter and the guitarist-vocalist for the L.A.-based country roots band SPINdrift and a frequent collaborator with acoustic artists across Canada and in the Los Angeles area.
Van Norden's latest single is “Love At First Sight”, with big vocals and a triumphant chorus. Norden is currently working on a drastic remix of the song with LA-based DJ An_Hero, as well as an accompanying Music Video that explores the darker side of ‘love at first sight”. Forthcoming EP‘s will feature several EDM and alternative tracks which incorporate acoustic elements and live recordings to augment the digital music. Using the music as the basis for a multi-media experience Van Norden has a rather distinct quality to his music.
