After a decade of business, New York City’s nightclub Pacha will close its doors. On December 26th, trance legend Markus Schulz will command the decks one last time for an open-to-close set. The trailblazer of trance will DJ the club’s final Saturday night soiree, paying homage to the nightlife staple with an uninterrupted marathon performance.
Schulz is famous for his nonstop sets, often spinning for 10+ hours a time without taking a break. Across the world, with his relentless mixing skills at hotspots such as Space in Miami, Avalon, in LA and Amnesia in Ibiza playing some of unforgettable sets.
This year Schulz launch his City Series project in which he released one track per month dedicated to a city he was performing in, and for the final installment Schulz has unveiled Gotham Serenade – a farewell to Pacha produced alongside Fisherman & Hawkins. The city Series saw Schulz in full globetrotter mode as he dotted the world with singles devoted to music metropolises such as Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Montreal, Mumbai and San Francisco.
