We're just barely a month removed from the culmination of Justin Jay's “Mom, I Graduated” world tour, but the LA native is getting ready to set sail, once again, on another massive world tour. This time, Justin Jay is bringing along some friends, Josh Taylor and Benny Bridges, for his Fantastic Voyage tour, which promises to deliver feel-good, house party vibes courtesy of Justin Jay, Josh Taylor, and Benny Bridges, straight to your city. The tour is set to kick off in Santa Barbara on February 26th, before making its way across the country and culminating with a performance in Tempe on April 30th.
Alongside the announcement of the tour, Justin shared his thoughts behind the conception of the “Fantastic Voyage, saying, “Over the past couple of months, I started throwing a bunch of house parties in LA. House parties are really special for DJ's because we can play songs we normally never get to play: from the tracks that are too weird and quirky for the big clubs/festivals, to the songs that are too cheesy and feel good for the cool-kid warehouse shindigs.
I like pushing myself to play crazy forward thinking music, but by the end of the night, I also want everyone (including myself) smiling, laughing and having a good time. Sometimes the songs that make me smile the biggest are also cool in their own cheesy way.
