Heavy Hearts (Ft. Eric Rickey of Rabid Young)

New York City is called the melting pot because it has so many different cultures in one place. The artist who reside in that city show that diversity and DeModa is definitely one of them. With his new track Heavy Hearts DeModa blurs the lines between Alternative Rock and Electronic Dance Music. The vocals put down by Eric Rickey of Rabid Young are reminiscent of 90’s bands such as Spacehog or New Radicals. Alongside the vocals lie a mix of synths and wobbles that add some grime to this up beat track. Rather than making an alt rock song that has electronic elements DeModa takes on a reversed approach of taking an electronic song and adding live music elements to it.
