Euphoria Festival was a rousing success in Texas last weekend featuring good people, good music, and good vibes. Our own writer, Erik Mahal, had the chance to get down there and catch the weekends festivities, and let me tell you, I haven't heard him talk about anything else since. A lot of the best acts of the weekend were smaller names on the bill, but one of the bigger names also threw down a set for the ages. Whether you love him for his hysterical social media presence, or his dedication to the genre of Moombahton, it's always a going to be a good time when you see Dillon Francis's name on the big screen.
Dillon threw down an epic sets, as he delivered a diverse mixture of trap, house, and the genre he's known best for, Moombahton. One of the biggest tracks of the set was a new song that he premiered at the festival entitled “Need You”. The song is a collaboration with up and coming producer NGHTMRE who has been making a serious name for himself over the last few months.
Unfortunately all we have for this song so far is the Youtube version from a fan's Camera. The video is of surprisingly good sound quality however, and we can tell a lot about what the official version of the song will sound like. The classic moombah sounds of Dillon's earlier career are very prevalent in the track, while NGHTMRE's influence is more on the back burner. However, what we can hear from NGHTMRE are clear signs of his drum sounds and styles that bring a lot to the track. We are excited to hear the studio version of the song and hope it comes out very soon. Check out the video below and get hype for this release!
