The track that was once nominated for the Grammis Award for Best Electro/Dance song of the year is turning 4 years old today. Avicii's “Silhouettes” quickly became a favorite after its release 4 years ago due to his signature melodies and progressive house sound. Avicii and Swedish singer Salem Al Fakir co-produced the track in 2011 and officially released it to the public on April 27th, 2012. Following the 2012 release, Salem Al Fakir released “You Make Me,” Avicii's own remix of “Hey Brother” and “The Days” with Avicii.
“Silhouettes” continues to be one of Avicii's most played songs and now has well-over 77 million streams on YouTube.
