McDonald's is trying very hard these days to be the cool kid. As more and more companies try to capitalize on electronic music's rise in popularity, McDonald's in the Netherlands is no different.
For McDonald's new marketing ploy, they have created a paper placement that lets diners create music through a fully functional midi-controller. This placemat is made with conductive ink on an ultra thin circuit board with 26 touchpoints. The placemat acts as a mini studio with a keyboard, effects, audio recording and a touchpad.
