Following a press conference on July 7th, President Obama said that “all Americans should be troubled” after the recent shootings of two black men, Philando Castile (Baton Rouge, LA) and Alton Sterling (Falcon Heights, MN). In response to these troubling videos that went viral, the event spurred protests and debate over police use of force across the country. While many of the protests remained peaceful, this however was not the case in Dallas, Texas. Four Dallas police officers and a DART officer were gunned down and killed in a coordinated sniper attack following Thursday night's protest. Seven other officers and two civilians were wounded after the shootings.

Despite his fan's appreciation of his music, many fans are showing their distaste after his recent comments about the shootings.
